Megan Buchanan

Megan Buchanan is a Senior Associate in the Construction, Infrastructure and PPP and Litigation and Dispute Resolution groups in Dentons' Vancouver office, specialising in Dispute Resolution. She maintains a construction disputes practice focused on representing and advising clients involved in the construction of infrastructure, industrial and commercial projects.

Megan has represented clients across a broad range of industries, including construction defect litigation, contaminated sites claims, general civil litigation and environmental law. She has specific experience with PPP disputes, construction contracts, negligent design and construction, delay, builders liens and surety bonds, and is committed to offering practical and strategic guidance to protect her clients' interests. She has appeared as counsel at all levels of court in British Columbia, including the Provincial Court, BC Supreme Court and BC Court of Appeal, and has also represented clients before the Civil Resolution Tribunal and Residential Tenancy Board.

Megan holds a J.D. from the University of Victoria (2019) and a B.A. in Political Science and Journalism from Chatham University (2015), where she represented her school as the starting goaltender for the NCAA Women's Ice Hockey Team.
