Melissa A. Schley

Melissa A. Schley is an Associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution group in Dentons' Edmonton office, specialising in Dispute Resolution. She advises clients on a wide range of litigation matters, with a focus on corporate and commercial disputes, personal injury claims, disputes arising from the division of corporate matrimonial property, contractual claims, construction and builders' lien disputes, and debt collection.

Melissa brings valuable business acumen to her legal practice, drawing on her prior experience as an executive for a national development company. This background allows her to offer tailored legal advice that is both practical and attuned to the current business environment. She has courtroom and trial experience, including appearances before the Alberta Court of Justice and the Alberta Court of King's Bench.

Melissa holds a J.D. from the University of Alberta (2023) and a B.Comm. (with Distinction) from MacEwan University (2019), where she majored in Legal Studies in Business and minored in Accounting. She is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and the Canadian Bar Association.
