Philippe Bergeron

Philippe Bergeron is a Partner in the Corporate group of Dentons' Montréal office, practicing in the firm's Corporate Law group. He advises clients in both the private and public sectors on mergers and acquisitions, securities and equity financings, corporate governance, and compliance, spanning private equity, public markets, and cross-border and domestic deals.

He has advised on numerous significant transactions, including advising 5N Plus Inc. on its acquisition of AZUR SPACE Solar Power GmbH, advising Peak Fintech Group Inc. on its CA$105 million acquisition of Cubeler Inc., advising Aya Gold & Silver Inc. on multiple underwritten bought deal public offerings totaling over CA$200 million, and advising BlackRock Metals Inc. on its CA$140 million reverse takeover of Strategic Resources Inc. He also advised a Québec-based mining company on multiple US$20 million equity investments from a US private equity fund, Flexpipe Industries on its sale to a US private equity-backed portfolio company, and EBOX inc. on its sale to Bell Canada.

Philippe holds an LLB and an MBA from the Université de Sherbrooke (2016). He has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada – Ones to Watch in Mergers and Acquisitions Law, Corporate Law, and Securities Law, as well as by The Legal 500 Canada in Corporate M&A.
