Sanjay Joshi

Sanjay Joshi is a Partner in Dentons' Corporate group, based in Toronto. With over 25 years of experience practising corporate law, his practice focuses on Mergers and Acquisitions, with deep experience in multi-jurisdictional M&A, securities and corporate finance.

Sanjay's practice is principally focused on tech-driven M&A and corporate finance. He regularly assists clients in tech-based industry specialisations, including AgTech, generative AI, digital asset financings and global biotechnology and drug development.

Many of his clients operate across multiple jurisdictions and regularly require advice on litigation, IP, banking and finance and other complex matters. He also advises clients in all aspects of their US, Canadian and European stock exchange listings and public capital raising issues.

His recent experience includes advising Canaccord Genuity Group Inc. as lead agent and sole bookrunner in connection with PesoRama Inc.'s marketed public offering of senior unsecured convertible debentures. He holds an LLB from Queen's University and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of Ontario, the Law Society of British Columbia and the Ontario Bar Association.
