Heather Bonnell

Heather Bonnell is a Senior Associate in Dentons' Corporate, Securities and Corporate Finance and Venture Technology and Emerging Growth Companies groups, specialising in Mergers and Acquisitions. She advises technology companies and investors on venture financings, private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, and equity incentive plans.

Heather has acted on numerous significant transactions, including advising Summit Partners on a US$122 million growth investment in Stay22, advising Fullscript Inc. on investment transactions from 2021 to date, and advising Vertu Capital on its investment in Amilia Enterprises. She also acted as Buyer transaction counsel to Miovision Technologies on its strategic acquisition of Global Traffic Technologies for US$107 million, and to Sampler on its strategic acquisition of Abeo. She has also advised ChopValue Manufacturing Ltd., eScribe Software, FigBytes Inc. and Lightship Security Inc. on their acquisitions and financings.

Heather holds a J.D. and a B.A. (Honours) in Global Development Studies from Queen's University, where she co-founded the Queen’s Venture Law Society and received the Denis Marshall Contribution Award.
