Michel Towner

Michel Towner is Counsel at Dentons in Montréal, specializing in Employment Law. He represents corporate clients before provincial and federal courts and tribunals, advising on collective agreements, grievances and arbitrations, labour standards, industrial accidents, health and safety, employment contracts, dismissals, and human rights matters.

Michel has been practising employment and labour law for more than 40 years. His practice covers the full range of employment and labour matters, including certification, negotiation, application and interpretation of collective agreements, injunctions, evocations, complaints, severance packages, pension plans, fringe benefits, access to information, and decrees. He publishes articles and speaks on topics of interest to employers.

Michel holds an LL.B from Université Laval (1976). He has served on the board of directors of the Montréal office and as National President of both the Air and Space Law Section and the Labour Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association.
